Job summary

Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. You will process supplier invoices, manage payments, and maintain accurate records to support audits. Experience in hospitality accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities include reconciling statements, assisting with month-end tasks, and coordinating with Purchasing, Receiving, and Operations to resolve payment issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in hospitality.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and financial records while supporting the smooth operation of our hotel portfolio.

• Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and on time.
• Ensure payments are made according to agreed credit terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audits and compliance.
• Assist with month-end accounts payable reconciliations and reporting.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and Operations teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Support VAT and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Follow Hyatt policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
