Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting or Finance or related degree.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience with general journal entries and closing processes.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle all accounting transactions for the company.
• Prepare budget projections and forecasts.
• Publish timely financial statements and reports.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and tax computations.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Report on financial health and liquidity of the company.
• Audit financial transactions and maintain data integrity.
• Maintain discretionary control over financial data and backups.
