Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, journal entries, and the general ledger. You will oversee AP/AR, invoices, reconciliations, and VAT records to support monthly closings and financial reporting.

The role requires 3–7 years of UAE experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP accounting software. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and local accounting practices

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries and general ledger
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare invoices, payment requests and customer supplier reconciliations
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding payments
• Assist with VAT records, monthly closing and financial reports
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Coordinate with procurement, project and commercial teams
• Support internal external audits and ensure compliance with company procedures
