Job summary

Mento Markets in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. In this fast-paced role you will handle bookkeeping, payment reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and support financial closing activities while ensuring records comply with internal procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 2+ years of experience, and a strong command of Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in Forex/CFD, brokerage, fintech, or financial services is preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, ledgers, and accounting entries.
• Perform daily bank, PSP, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Verify invoices, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor account balances and investigate discrepancies or unmatched transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with audit requirements and maintain complete documentation.
• Coordinate with Payments, Operations, and Compliance teams.
• Improve accounting and reconciliation processes.
