Job summary

SPERTON - Where Great People Meet is seeking an Accounts Assistant for UAE, based in Ras Al-Khaimah with 2+ years of experience. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Key duties include payroll assistance, expense recording, daily entries, and monthly financial closing support. Immediate joiners are preferred; manufacturing exposure is a plus. Accommodation and visa are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Honest, organized, and willing to learn.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll preparation and salary record maintenance.
• Record and maintain credit card expenses.
• Handle petty cash entries and reconciliation.
• Pass daily accounting entries in the system.
• Maintain vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
• Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related activities.
