Job description
Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage all accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll tax and financial reporting.


  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.


  • Develop and implement accounting policies procedures and internal controls to ensure data integrity and financial compliance.


  • Coordinate internal and external audits ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


  • Collaborate with the CFO to support budgeting forecasting and strategic planning efforts.


  • Ensure compliance with local state federal and international tax regulations.


  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as needed.


  • Manage and mentor a team of accountants fostering professional development and performance.


  • Oversee financial systems upgrades or implementations.


  • Liaise with external partners such as auditors banks and tax consultants.



Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters degree preferred).


  • CPA CMA or equivalent professional certification required.


  • Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in accounting including 3 years in a leadership role.


  • Strong knowledge of GAAP IFRS tax laws and financial regulations.


  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.


  • Excellent analytical leadership and communication skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.



Preferred Skills


  • Experience in accounting (e.g. healthcare manufacturing tech).


  • Knowledge of international financial operations and consolidation.


  • Familiarity with SOX compliance (if applicable).
