Job summary

IFZA Dubai's Shared Services Centre is seeking an Accounting Associate to support day-to-day bookkeeping and customer accounting, coordinating with a team to deliver accurate end-to-end service. You will process transactions, reconcile invoices, post journal entries, and prepare monthly financial statements, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Finance, 1-2 years of experience, and mandatory Chinese language proficiency;

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 1-2 years accounting experience.
• Professional accounting qualification from a recognized body preferred.
• Chinese language proficiency is mandatory.
• Detail oriented and organized; able to operate under demanding timelines.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions according to procedures and ensure timely, accurate recording.
• Reconcile invoices, statements, and investigate discrepancies.
• Post accounting journal transactions in line with double entry bookkeeping.
• Create and record aging reports and assist in monthly financial statements.
• Provide daily partnering support to customers on their financial packages.
