Job summary

A leading finance company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Administrator to manage daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and must be an Emirati. This role offers a salary of AED 19k - 20k plus NAFIS and provides opportunities for growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in accounting, insurance background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial operations, including credit control, payment allocations, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client and insurer accounts within the IBA Finance function.
  • Follow up on producers’ overaged commission payables.
  • Reconcile client, underwriter, and IBA accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc finance projects.
