Job summary

The Role

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding Real Estate Brokerage firm based in Dubai. Known for their energetic team and fast‑paced environment, they are now looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to join their finance department and support their growth. This role goes beyond basic accounting. You’ll play a key role in managing commissions, working closely with sales agents and property developers to ensure timely and accurate financial coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Track, verify and manage commissions due to/from agents and developers, ensuring timely disbursements and collections.
  • Handle daily accounting tasks including customer invoices, receipts and aging reports.
  • Monitor supplier accounts and process vendor invoices and payments.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date AR/AP ledgers with complete documentation and approvals.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE FTA regulations.
  • Manage payroll processing, including salary transfers and end‑of‑service benefits as per UAE labor law.
  • Assist in monthly and year‑end closings, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
  • Support financial reporting, budget tracking and audit preparation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE‑based accounting experience, with proven experience in a Real Estate Brokerage firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Real Estate commission structures and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with RERA regulations is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
