Want More in Sharjah, UAE is seeking an Accountant to manage financial processes and ensure timely reporting. The role includes maintaining records, preparing statements, reconciliations, tax returns, payroll, and closing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
• Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, etc.).
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Handle tax returns, invoicing, payrolls, and monthly/quarterly closings.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Respond to queries from customers, suppliers, auditors or finance team.
