Job summary

Power Pen Office Equipment Trading LLC in Dubai seeks an organized Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage ledger operations, tax filings, and financial reporting to support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with Tally Prime, QuickBooks or SAP. CPA/CMA is a plus, and you will collaborate with auditors and management to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices is essential.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and generate reports.
• Analyze financial summaries and explain variances to the management team.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns in compliance with tax laws.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts in a precise and timely manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary financial information.
• Evaluate financial operations to recommend best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity to meet short-term financial obligations.
• Review and suggest cost-control measures to improve overall organizational efficiency.
• Use accounting software to process business transactions and manage financial data.
• Proper knowledge & Work experience in Tally Prime
