Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an Accountant to manage financial records and support billing activities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining accounts receivable/payable, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial statements. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in accounting/finance.

  • Experience with financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  • Update financial records via accounting software.
  • Gather payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line.
  • Prepare quarterly budget under the purview of senior management.
  • Analyze financial statements and prepare balance sheets.
  • Answer phones and greet visitors.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Coordinate meetings and collate mail.
  • Prepare communications such as memos, invoices and reports.
  • Write and edit communications, from letters to reports.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
