Al-Futtaim Real Estate is hiring an Accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to support accurate payment allocation, customer account maintenance, bank reconciliation, and credit control activities across portfolios at Dubai Festival City. The role requires hands-on experience with Yardi and Excel, careful management of daily financial transactions, and consistent attention to customer accounts, payment records, and processing deadlines.

Payment Processing and Bank Reconciliation

• Record all cheques received accurately and promptly in the PDC module each day.
• Process customer payments in Yardi daily and arrange timely deposit of cheques into the bank.
• Apply cash receipts correctly to the relevant customer accounts to maintain accurate account balances.
• Reconcile bank statements daily against deposited cheques.
• Investigate and minimize unreconciled items before month-end.

Account Maintenance and Credit Control

• Maintain accurate customer accounts and systematically review unallocated credits.
• Clear customer accounts and reduce outstanding unallocated amounts through regular checks.
• Provide timely notification and follow-up for bounced cheques.
• Support recovery of bounced cheque amounts in accordance with the relevant agreements.
• Maintain precise transaction and account records to support effective credit control.

Finance Support

• Provide ad-hoc support to the CCD when required.
• Complete assigned finance and administrative tasks within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Yardi for payment processing and financial account management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and general bookkeeping procedures.
