Job summary

Almarai - المراعي is seeking an Accountant in Sharjah, UAE to prepare financial statements and manage internal and external reporting processes. The role requires handling region-wise P&L, consolidation for external reporting, and performing FI/CO reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting/finance, professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/ICA/AICPA), and hands-on experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. FMCG/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance and professional accounting qualifications.
• Experience with internal reporting, external financial statements, and reconciliations.
• FMCG and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computerized accounting environments, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external financial statements per company policy.
• Manage region-wise P&L for Sales & Marketing and consolidate external reporting.
• Produce adhoc FI/CO reports and perform reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines and nationalities to ensure accurate financial data.

The Opportunity:

To prepare the financial statements to cater the internal and external reporting requirements at the highest standard by adhering to Almarai policies, procedures, accounting standards

Candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:

• Degree in Accountant / Finance
• Executive Report & Financial Statements – Internal Reporting
• Region wise Profit & Loss account – Sales & Marketing Division
• Consolidated Financial Statements – External Reporting
• Adhoc Reports & FI/CO Reconciliation
• Experience in a commercial organization preferably FMCG + Manufacturing
• Should have full or part Qualification from a recognized accounting body (CIMA; ACCA; ICA; AICPA)
• Worked in a computerized accounting environment. (Excel; Word; Power point); Confidence in working in an ERP system.
