Overview

Job Title: Accountant. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Job Type: Full-Time. Department: Finance / Accounting. Reporting To: Owners.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, inventory accounting, and ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations. The ideal candidate will support budgeting, audits, and financial planning. Experience in the diamond jewelry industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
  • Handle accounts payable & receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Support month-end and year-end closing
  • Conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits
  • Ensure VAT compliance and handle tax filings (UAE)
  • Comply with Kimberley Process and international trade laws
  • Collaborate with internal departments for financial analysis
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in accounting (preferably in jewelry/diamond industry)
  • Proficient in Tally, SAP, or Oracle
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Sound understanding of UAE tax laws & financial regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
