Role Overview
As an Accountant at Pay10.com UAE, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions within the UAE entity. You will support compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and group reporting standards while working closely with the regional and global finance teams to maintain transparent, efficient, and compliant financial practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily accounting operations for Pay10.com UAE, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and client payments.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with all local tax and financial regulations.
- Support payroll accounting and employee-related financial reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal and group reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and support internal financial reviews.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Support the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE and in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, WPS payroll, and local compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and consolidation preferred.
