Job summary

A leading building materials company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, preparing invoices and VAT returns, and maintaining accurate financial records. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office, and ideally experience in the building materials sector. This position is open to female candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.

👩💼 Hiring: Accountant - Building Materials (Abu Dhabi)

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to handle the core accounting and bookkeeping functions of the company. This role requires precision, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of key UAE tax and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and financial transactions.
• Proficiently preparing and managing purchase orders, invoices, and quotations.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Educational Background: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent Commerce degree.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Hindi is required.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Tally ERP/Prime is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the building materials industry is highly preferred.
• Location: Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
