  7. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
  8. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  9. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  10. Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  11. Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  12. Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  13. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting policies and regulations.
  14. Ensures compliance with legal requirements by studying legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management.
  15. Maintains confidentiality of financial information to protect operations.
  16. Maintains professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and participation in professional societies.
  17. Performs assigned duties to accomplish organizational results.
  18. Contributes to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
  19. Completes tasks assigned by the line manager as required.
