- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting policies and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements by studying legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management.
- Maintains confidentiality of financial information to protect operations.
- Maintains professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and participation in professional societies.
- Performs assigned duties to accomplish organizational results.
- Contributes to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
- Completes tasks assigned by the line manager as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies, Management, or a relevant field.
