Summary of the Role:

The purpose of the role is to establish and manage Direct Customer accounts or prospects in Middle East region & to sell company products within the designated geographic territory or by nature of customers to ascertain Lubrizols market position and drive the organization to a sustained market leader position within the Paints Coatings inks and Adhesives market segments in the region. The job involves high level of negotiation skills and ability to influence others and strategize sales for the new market segments. This role would also require strategizing & implementing sales plan for a new product /segment as well.

Key Activities
  • To implement sales strategy through value creation approach to designated direct customers.
  • In terms of Business development the role is expected to identify manage and grow all avenues through which business opportunities could be maximized and is expected to augment the business through various value creation and market driven activities
  • Execute and manage annual direct customer budget
  • The role is expected to support and engage stakeholders to facilitate ease of business.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
  • Provide market information and sales direction on existing/ prospective customers of the given territory.
  • In order achieve the sales goals for business growth and align the sales strategy with organization strategy.
  • To achieve growth and develop business and preempt market requirement so as to provide relevant solutions.
  • Foster and grow the appropriate business relationships both internally and externally across functions
  • Manage the development and effectiveness of CIS for key accounts
  • Follow up and handling of customer complaints in co-operation with logistics group
  • Gather customer needs through VOC interviews.
  • Comply with administrative requirements (all call reports rolling forecasts customer feedback expense reports etc.)
Requirements (education experience competencies and specific job requirements):
Education / Certification:
  • Minimum B. Tech Chemical Technology/Chemistry/ applied sciences /with focus on paints pigments and varnishes.
  • MBA qualification preferred.
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant industry experience in sales & business development.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role/ professional B2B sales experience
