About the role

BLR WORLD is hiring an Account Manager to oversee our project in Abu Dhabi. This role ensures outstanding educational and interpretative visitor experiences while maintaining a collaborative relationship with client management. The Account Manager will be based in the UAE and serve as the primary liaison between BLR WORLD and the Museum.

This position is a 3-year contract based at the Museum.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate museum staffing services, including staffing, ticketing, delivering tours, workshops, and live interpretation across museum spaces.
  • Manage shifts and rosters to cover all opening hours, up to 365 days a year.
  • Recruitment expected in Q3 2025 with a starting date of November 2025 for training.
  • Act as the main point of contact for museum management, ensuring satisfaction and proactive communication to address challenges.
Account management and reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll data submission.
  • Provide reports on staffing performance, attendance, visitor feedback, and operational outcomes.
  • Report daily, weekly, monthly and annually on staff performance and satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly on-site meetings for the first 3 months; frequency may reduce thereafter.
  • Work closely with the BLR WORLD team to respond and meet client expectations.
Staff development
  • Oversee staff performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to assess and address training needs.
  • Foster a professional, inclusive, and engaging team culture.
Performance monitoring and quality assurance
  • Establish and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Be responsible for collecting and reporting visitor feedback and operational data.
Compliance and administration
  • Ensure operations comply with museum policies, safety standards, and cultural sensitivities.
  • Maintain accurate records of staffing schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Compiling reports for the client and internally on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Hard skills
  • Expertise in staff scheduling and rostering, resource allocation, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of museum education and visitor engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce management software.
  • Experience in educator training and development.
