This role is responsible for retaining and strengthening client relationships. It involves planning and strategizing to retain and expand current customer relationships, ensuring high-quality customer service, and resolving issues to retain clients. By engaging with clients and understanding their business requirements, this role contributes to Takeda's mission.
The role is located in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Promotes designated products in regular calls to targeted health care professionals according to the Takeda strategy and action plan.
- Ensures to achieve and surpass sales and market share targets by delivering the requested daily number of high-quality sales visits to the health care professionals in the target list.
- Ensures delivery and continuous improvement of quality calls by rigorously implementing recommendations from superiors.
- Actively and rigorously implements the sales and marketing strategy and action plans and strictly uses promotional materials.
- Organizes and conducts product meetings and round tables.
- Continuously reports the activities with sales effectiveness tools.
- Under the supervision of the direct superior, implements KOL plans in the territory.
- Makes a territory analysis and proposes a budget and action plan.
- Demonstrates a winning attitude and commitment to achieve targets.
- Demonstrates customer centricity to build a relationship based on trust and respect, performing all activities within the Takeda code of conduct and compliance.
- Implements segmentation and targeting objectives.
- Delivers or surpasses the requested number of daily calls in the target audience.
- Successfully implements the sales and marketing strategy and action plans and strictly uses the promotional materials provided.
- Is eager to and continuously improve the quality of sales calls by implementing scientific, product, and sales call training.
- Regularly asks for feedback and rigorously implements coaching recommendations from superiors.
- Has the required skills to conduct product presentations in group meetings, hospital staff meetings, and round tables in the territory.
- Has the skills to organize such meetings and ensure that targeted HCP are present to attend product presentations.
- Ensures attending HCP are visited shortly after the meeting as per company guidelines.
- Identifies and lists KOLs in the territory.
- Develops an appropriate KOL management plan.
- With minimal supervision, implements the agreed-upon KOL plan.
- Ensures this is done within the Takeda code of conduct and compliance.
- Conducts an in-depth analysis of the territory comprising value and unit sales of Takeda and competing products, segmentation and targeting, and outcomes of all activities.
- Develops an adequate action and investment plan for the next period.
- Primary responsibility is the achievement of sales and business objectives within the given territory.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Medicine.
- 2 years of experience in specialty care.
- Experience in Gastroenterology and Hereditary Angioedema is an advantage.
- Having experience in another pharmaceutical company is an advantage.
- Very good command of English and Arabic languages.
