Overview
We are seeking an AccountLead to serve as the primary client contact and strategic advisor for high-value accounts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account management within an agency environment, overseeing multi-channel marketing, advertising, and communications campaigns. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to drive client success while ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Client Leadership & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for key clients.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, performance, and strategic insight.
- Understand clients business objectives, market challenges, and industry dynamics to provide proactive solutions.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing, advertising, and communications campaigns.
- Lead client presentations, business reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Strategy & Planning - Develop strategic recommendations and campaign roadmaps aligned with client goals.
- Collaborate with planning, creative, digital, PR, and production teams to craft cohesive, insight-driven strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with market positioning across all communication touchpoints.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth and innovation opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration - Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional account team to deliver excellence.
- Foster collaboration across disciplines to ensure seamless execution.
- Allocate resources efficiently and oversee team performance, workload, and development.
- Promote a positive, solution-oriented, and accountable team culture.
- Financial Management - Oversee budgeting, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Identify and pursue upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Performance & Quality Control - Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
- Maintain quality and strategic integrity across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 8-12 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or marketing strategy, preferably within advertising, PR, or integrated communications agencies.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-channel campaigns and high-value accounts.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, digital media, branding, and creative processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
