Liwa University seeks a Librarian to assist the library manager in promoting and developing the college library, providing effective service to students and staff. The role involves shelving, issuing, registering patrons, and supporting library programs and policies.

The librarian will collaborate with senior staff to ensure up-to-date information resources, organize collections, and deliver reference assistance and training in e-resources.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in library & information science from a recognized university.
• Ability to operate a computer system and manage library materials.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in reviewing materials for selection and acquisition and make recommendations for a wide range of books, periodicals, and AV materials.
• Lend learning resources to students and staff.
• Organize and maintain assigned collections.
• Provide reference and reader's advisory services and instruct patrons in library resources.
• Assist in development of library policies and procedures and in evaluating library programs.
