SupportFinity™ is seeking a Junior Academic Counselor to guide students and families toward academic goals. You will assess strengths and weaknesses, develop action plans, and collaborate with teachers to create an optimal learning environment.

The role includes monitoring progress, communicating with parents, and supporting college and scholarship applications, plus organizing workshops on study skills and test strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counseling.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic counseling to students and their families.
• Assess students’ academic strengths and weaknesses and develop personalized action plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide an optimal learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
• Assist with college and career counseling, including college applications and scholarship search.
• Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on academic and test-taking strategies.
