MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide administrative and coordination support to deliver MBRU/Dubai Health undergraduate clinical placements and graduate training at Dubai Mediclinic Middle East hospitals and clinics.
This role ensures the successful delivery of academic placements, onboarding processes, documentation, and communication with multiple stakeholders including MBRU/Dubai Health, MCME human resources, learning & development, academic site coordinators, graduate programme directors and discipline coordinators.
The role plays a vital part in facilitating high-quality teaching for students and trainees, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Act as the primary liaison for MBRU’s undergraduate medical students (Years 1–6), coordinating clinical placements, onboarding, and academic support activities across hospital sites.
  • Manage documentation, orientation logistics, and communication for Year 4 onboarding, Early Clinical Exposure, and student research programmes.
  • Support the Clinical Elective Programme by coordinating placements, onboarding, and feedback processes for local and international students.
  • Provide administrative support for postgraduate trainees (residents, fellows, and MSc Nursing students), including onboarding, documentation, evaluations, and accreditation preparations.
  • Maintain accurate records and trackers for all academic programmes, ensuring compliance with DHA standards and internal policies.
  • Coordinate academic meetings, generate timely reports, and assist with broader academic initiatives such as summer/winter schools and faculty development activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION

A relevant diploma from an accredited educational institution
A relevant Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare / administrative subject

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year experience in in a healthcare or academic setting.
Experience of coordinating academic teaching programmes
