Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Technician with at least 3 years of proven experience in AC service and specialized air duct cleaning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of HVAC duct systems, as well as providing comprehensive AC service and repair. This role requires a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring our clients have clean, healthy, and efficient indoor air.

AC Duct Cleaning

• Perform thorough inspections of HVAC duct systems using specialized tools and cameras to identify debris, mold, dust, and other contaminants.
• Clean and sanitize air ducts, vents, and registers using industry-standard equipment such as rotary brushes, industrial vacuums, and negative air machines
• Apply appropriate cleaning agents and biocides as needed, following all safety protocols.
• Seal and repair minor leaks in ductwork to improve system efficiency and air quality.

AC Service & Maintenance

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on various types of AC systems (e.g., split units, ducted systems, chilled water systems).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in AC units.
• Perform repairs, including but not limited to, replacing compressors, fan motors, capacitors, and contactors.
• Check and top-up refrigerant levels, and ensure proper pressure readings.
• Clean and maintain evaporator and condenser coils, drain pans, and filters.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to explain the cleaning process, service findings, and recommended repairs or maintenance.
• Provide expert advice on improving indoor air quality and extending the lifespan of their AC systems.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and a positive attitude.

General Duties

• Maintain daily logs and detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Keep the company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments and respond to emergency service calls.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new equipment, and best practices in AC technology and duct cleaning.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician, with specific experience in AC duct cleaning.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including the principles of refrigeration and air distribution.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical components of AC systems.
• Familiarity with a wide range of cleaning and service tools, including specialized duct cleaning equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work plans.
