Job summary

Side in Dubai is building a talent pool for future co-development opportunities in 3D character artistry. As a key contributor, you will craft high-quality character assets for various platforms including PC, console, and VR/AR.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, familiar with industry tools such as ZBrush and Maya, and the ability to adapt to diverse visual styles. This role emphasizes collaboration with art teams and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Character Artist in the video game industry.
• Demonstrated contribution to at least one shipped title on PC, console, mobile, or VR/AR.
• Proficient with industry-standard tools such as ZBrush, Maya, and Substance Painter.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and character design.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D character assets from concept to game-ready models.
• Collaborate with art leads and designers to ensure artistic vision aligns.
• Develop textures and materials optimized for performance across platforms.
• Ensure proper topology, rigging, and skinning for animation requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges to refine character development assets.
