Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking certified 6G welders to join a high-pressure pipe fabrication team for industrial firefighting networks. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment upholding strict quality and safety guidelines.

Core duties include TIG and SMAW welding on carbon steel and stainless pipes in 6G positions, setting up machines, selecting gas mixtures and filler wires, reading fabrication drawings, and ensuring welds pass hydrostatic and X-ray inspections.

Qualifications

• Formal Welder Trade Certification with clear background check.
• 3+ years of recent 6G welding experience in a major fabrication yard or industrial plant.
• Valid transferable residency visa and readiness for a site test.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and SMAW welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipes in 6G positions.
• Set up welding machines, selecting gas mixtures and filler wires according to specifications.
• Read fabrication drawings and measure/cut pipes to ensure alignment before tack welding.

Job description

NAFFCO is seeking certified 6G Welder professionals to handle high-pressure pipe fabrication for industrial firefighting networks. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment maintaining strict quality and safety guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality TIG and SMAW welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipes in 6G positions.
• Set up and calibrate welding machines, selecting the correct gas mixtures and filler wires according to structural specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, measuring and cutting pipes to ensure flawless alignment before tack welding.
• Ensure all completed welds comply with international quality standards to pass internal hydrostatic and X-ray inspections.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Qualifications: Formal Welder Trade Certification with a cleared background verification.
• Experience: At least 3 years of recent 6G welding experience within a major fabrication yard or industrial plant.
• Papers: Must possess a valid transferable residency visa and be ready to pass a practical site test.
