Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a leading Investment Institution in Abu Dhabi seeking an Investment Accountant within Treasury & Cash Management. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on settlements, cash flow and liquidity monitoring to support daily treasury operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification (CA/ACCA or equivalent) and have up to 5 years of experience in settlements and treasury, with strong attention to detail and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Less than 5 years of experience in settlements, payments and treasury.
• Based in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Settlements of all treasury transactions including money market, bonds, FX, bank deposits, forwards, futures.
• Completing cash flow and FX exposure on a deal-by-deal basis, and reconciling cash accounts monthly.
• Monitoring liquidity positions to include available cash and easily realizable assets such as securities, treasury bonds and short-term commercial papers.

Key responsibilities

• Settlements of all treasury transactions including the following instruments: money market, bonds, FX, bank deposits, forwards, futures, etc
• Completing cash flow and FX exposure on a deal by deal basis, and reconciling various cash accounts monthly.
• Monitoring liquidity positions to include available cash and easily realizable vash such as from securities, treasury bonds and short-term commercial papers.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following skills:

• An Accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Less than 5 years of experience (since it is a relatively junior vacancy) in settlements, payments and treasury
• Based in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi
