Job summary

A prominent services company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a 2nd Engineer HL / PL DP3 to assist in managing the technical operations of an offshore vessel. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and valid STCW certification. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on HL / PL DP3 vessels.
• Valid STCW certification and DP Maintenance Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the technical operations of the vessel.
• Maintain and repair all machinery and equipment on board.
• Monitor and maintain all systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Train and supervise junior engineers and crew members.
• Participate in emergency drills and respond to emergencies as required.
• Report to the Chief Engineer and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on HL / PL DP3 vessels.
