Job summary

Al Sahraa Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a 2 Axle Driver to safely operate a 2 axle truck, load and unload cargo, and ensure on-time deliveries across the UAE.

The role requires a valid UAE driving license for 2 axle vehicles, at least 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of local roads, and the ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain records, and represent the company professionally while adhering to policies and dress code.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license for 2 axle vehicles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a 2 axle driver.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to operate a variety of 2 axle trucks safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when necessary.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 2 axle truck to transport goods and materials to various locations within the UAE
• Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code
