Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a detail-oriented SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and secure system databases. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in SQL Server administration and knowledge in database performance tuning. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining database servers, ensuring system performance, and troubleshooting issues. This is an on-site position located in Centurion, Gauteng.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in SQL Server DBA or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of SQL Server architecture and components.
  • Knowledge of cloud database management.

Responsibilities

  • Managing SQL Server databases.
  • Configuring and maintaining database servers.
  • Monitoring system's health and performance.
  • Ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
