Security Group

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a well-established and growing Security Group. This is a senior executive role, responsible for leading the organisation’s full financial function, driving financial strategy, and supporting the Board and Managing Director in key business decisions.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of financial governance, and the ability to operate confidently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Oversee all aspects of the financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic growth and operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost structures to maintain financial stability.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
• Drive financial controls, risk management, and governance across all business units.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate investments, expansion opportunities, and profitability initiatives.
• Provide clear, data-driven insights to guide decision-making at Board level.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to build a high-performing, accountable function.

• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Minimum 10 years’ post-articles experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive finance role.
• Strong track record in financial leadership, preferably within a multi-branch or operationally intensive business (experience in the security, logistics, or services industry is advantageous).
• Proven ability to implement robust financial systems and controls.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
