Job summary
A human resource consulting firm in Somerset West seeks a Bookkeeper to manage client bookkeeping services, VAT submissions, and Payroll functions. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience, is proficient in Xero and Sage Online, and has excellent communication skills. Education requirements include a diploma in Accounting. Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of experience in bookkeeping services.
- Experience in Xero and Sage Online.
- Experience in Simple Pay and Sage Online Payroll.
- Experience with Tax Administration on SARS eFiling profile.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
Responsibilities
- Client bookkeeping services, including supplier management and invoicing.
- Full client VAT responsibilities – ensuring compliance.
- Client Payroll function – ensuring timely submission.
- Full client PAYE responsibilities – ensuring compliance.
- U-filing and COIDA submissions.
Skills
Education
- Client bookkeeping services, including supplier management and invoicing
- Management Account function for certain clients – by client set deadline
- Full client VAT responsibilities – for submission and ensuring clients are always compliant
- Full client Payroll function – for submission before client and SARS deadline
- Full client’s PAYE responsibilities – for submission and ensuring clients are always compliant
- U-filing submissions
- COIDA submissions
- Have 2 – 3 years of experience in bookkeeping services
- Have experience in Xero and Sage Online
- Have experience in Simple Pay and Sage Online Payroll
- Have experience with Tax Administration on SARS eFiling profile
- A diploma in Accounting from an accredited educational institution will be to your advantage
- Be proficient in Excel
- Have excellent verbal and written skills with a positive, proactive attitude
- Ideally have A level math’s / Accounting
