Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Sales Executive in Centurion to manage sales for waterproofing and industrial coatings. Ideal candidates will have a technical sales background, strong relationships with architects and property developers, and the ability to understand technical product information. The role includes driving business development and meeting sales targets, with a competitive salary and commission structure.

Skills
Education
We are looking for a technical-minded sales professional to manage and grow the sales of our client’s advanced waterproofing, damp proofing, and industrial coatings range.
You will be the primary contact for specifying and selling solutions to a high-level professional audience.
Salary: Basic R25,000 (starting) + Car Allowance + Commission (OTE R50k – R80k p/m).
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development for waterproofing and specialist coating solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Property Developers, and Facility / Maintenance Managers.
- Conduct on-site assessments to understand client needs and recommend the correct technical solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure solutions are specified correctly from the design phase.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven sales track record in a technical or construction-related field.
- Essential Experience: A network and strong track record of selling to architects, property developers, or large-scale maintenance managers.
- Ability to grasp technical product information quickly.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to clients.
- Advantageous: A qualification or strong knowledge in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
