Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in youth football coaching and development.
• Proven track record in identifying, developing, and mentoring young football talent.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and teams of coaches.
• Hybrid working model with on-site coaching in Benoni and remote planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate football curriculum across all youth age groups.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of youth coaches.
• Identify and nurture high-potential players with clear advancement pathways.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the youth academy, ensuring safety and positive learning.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians and external stakeholders to support development.
• Organize training sessions, matches, tournaments and scouting events.
• Monitor progress, conduct reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with global best practices in youth development and coaching methods.
• Ensure compliance with football regulations and club policies.
• Manage the academy budget and resources effectively.
