About the Role

Our client, a renowned football academy dedicated to nurturing young talent in Soweto, Gauteng, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Development Football Coach. This role is focused on the technical, tactical, and personal development of young aspiring footballers, aged between 8 and 16. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging training sessions, fostering a positive learning environment, and instilling core values of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth development, a strong understanding of age-appropriate coaching methodologies, and excellent communication skills. This is an on-site position critical to the academy's mission of identifying and developing the next generation of football stars.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality football training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Focus on developing fundamental technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical literacy in young players.
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment that promotes player development and enjoyment of the game.
• Coach teams during matches, providing constructive feedback and tactical guidance.
• Identify talented players and contribute to the academy's recruitment and player pathway strategies.

Requirements
