Job summary

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a trade tested and experienced YELLOW PLANT DIESEL MECHANIC - WIRTGEN & VOGELE MACHINERY (CONSTRUCTION / EARTHMOVING INDUSTRY) for a well-established, growing concern based in Pietermaritzburg , KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Code 14 / 15 valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

English / Afrikaans speaking person.

Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

Trade tested diesel / earthmoving mechanic (yellow plant diesel mechanic with earthmoving and construction experience).

5yrs+ previous working experience in the construction / earthmoving industry.

Previous working experience with construction / heavy plant earthmoving equipment is ESSENTIAL . Yellow plant diesel mechanic with construction experience and Wirtgen and Vogele machinery experience.

Previous working experience on trucks and yellow metal equipment (TLB’s, excavators, etc is a requirement.

Person must be willing to work weekends and after hours when required.

Must be able to work independently without continuous supervision.
