This role blends writing with website admin and social media.

What You'll Do

• Write engaging lifestyle, news, and culture stories in the trademark 2oceansvibe style
• Research and pitch fresh, relevant story ideas daily
• Upload and format articles on WordPress (basic CMS skills required)
• Assist with light website admin – updating tags, categories, links, etc.
• Manage and grow our social media presence (Instagram, X, Facebook) with posts and shares
• Spot trending topics and ensure 2oceansvibe has a timely, witty take

What We're Looking For

• Strong writing and editing skills with a natural sense of humour
• Proven social media experience – posting, scheduling, and engaging with audiences
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and happy to handle small admin tasks
• A proactive personality – someone who can spot opportunities and run with them

Bonus Points For

• Copywriting experience
• SEO awareness and keyword optimisation
• Photoshop / Canva or other basic image‑editing skills
• Previous online publishing or newsroom experience
