Job summary

Cre8work! is seeking an In-House Site Supervisor to oversee daily workshop/site operations, ensuring technicians and fitters work safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

The role focuses on productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety regulations, with responsibilities including supervising staff, scheduling, reporting, and liaising with customers where required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Trade qualification or relevant technical qualification is advantageous.
• 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role within a workshop, tyre, automotive, fleet, or industrial environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Experience working with job cards and workshop management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of technicians, fitters, and support staff.
• Ensure all jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed turnaround times.
• Allocate work based on technician skills, workload, and customer priorities.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and performance of team members.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Manage stock levels of tools, consumables, and equipment, and report shortages.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and skills.
• Liaise with customers regarding job progress and service delivery where required.
• Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and used correctly.
• Assist with scheduling and planning to maximize operational efficiency.
