Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee our workshop operations at Hyundai Boksburg. The Workshop Foreman will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all maintenance and repair work on vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering highquality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of technicians and provide guidance and direction as needed
  • Monitor and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
  • Perform quality control checks on completed work to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Coordinate with parts department to ensure necessary materials are available for repairs
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of workshop staff
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing all company safety policies
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on their vehicle repairsHandle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or certification in automotive repair preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment and software
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
