Workshop Cleaner: Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised workshop environment. Ensure compliance with the Hitachi Health & Safety Policy and Procedures, as well as the companys Safe Work and ISO‑related procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, and restroom maintenance, to ensure all areas remain clean and hygienic.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain all cleaning tools, materials, and supplies in good working condition, and promptly report any faults, shortages, or maintenance requirements to the Supervisor.
  • Interact professionally with staff and visitors while supporting overall site operations and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised workshop at all times.
  • Adhere to the companys Health & Safety Policy and Procedures, ensuring compliance with Safe Work and ISO‑related standards.
Requirements
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.

  • Matric Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.
  • Exposure to heavy machinery or industrial workspaces (advantageous).
Skills and Competencies
