Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Packaging Coordinator to manage packaging materials, perform daily stock counts, and support production reporting.

You will assist with Oracle purchase orders, create weekly and monthly forecasts, and maintain housekeeping and safety in the department. Suitable for candidates with Grade 12 and a Diploma/Degree in Production Management who are comfortable in a manufacturing environment and shifts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Diploma / Degree in Production Management or related field.
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work shifts where required.

Responsibilities

• Daily stock counts of packaging materials to ensure stock accuracy and identify variances.
• Capture and maintain accurate daily production and stock movement reports.
• Receive, verify, record, store and issue packaging materials.
• Assist with creation, processing and administration of Oracle purchase orders.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly packaging forecasts to support production planning and stock availability.
• Assist and maintain housekeeping, organization, cleanliness and safety in the department.

Responsible for managing packaging material and including stock counts, receiving and issuing, production reporting, forecasting, Oracle purchase order support, and maintaining good housekeeping standards in the department.

• Daily Stock Counts – Conduct daily physical stock counts of packaging materials and ensuring stock accuracy and identifying variances.

• Production Reporting – Capture and maintain accurate daily production and stock movement reports.

• Receiving & Issuing of Stock – Receive, verify, record, store, and issue packaging materials in accordance with operational requirements.

• Oracle Purchase Orders – Assist with the creation, processing, and administration of purchase orders on Oracle.

• Packaging Forecasting – Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly packaging forecasts to support production planning and ensure stock availability.

• Stores Housekeeping – Assist and maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, cleanliness, and safety within the department
  

Minimum Requirement

• Grade 12
• Diploma / Degree in Production Management or related field.
