Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Working Capital Specialist to originate and execute working capital funding transactions. You will develop new business, build robust client and intermediary relationships, and manage the full deal lifecycle from origination to payout in the Johannesburg region.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, a solid grasp of lending principles and credit risk, and proven experience in structuring tailored funding solutions.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or CFA completed; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in lending or financial services.
• Proven ability to originate, structure, and execute finance transactions.
• Strong client-facing business development experience within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate new working capital funding opportunities.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Structure tailored working capital solutions aligned to client needs and risk.
• Manage end-to-end transaction process from origination to payout.
• Collaborate with Credit, Legal and Operations to facilitate approvals.
• Maintain long-term relationships with clients and intermediaries.
• Monitor market trends and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
