Candidates should hold relevant qualifications such as BSc in Chemistry or Food Science and have extensive experience in similar roles. Qualifications

• 23+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with BRCGS / FSSC 22000 or relevant FSM systems.
• Laboratory and people management experience.
• Strong chemistry knowledge, especially in the wine industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wine analysis lab management and method accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS / FSSC standards audits and GMP.
• Manage bottling line quality checks and hygiene procedures.
• Coordinate label approvals (SAWIS Fairtrade EcoCert BeVeg).
• Support health & safety committee and training initiatives.
• Assist with external audits and certifications.
