• Location: Rustenburg Platinum Mine

A respected mining contractor is recruiting x4 underground Winch Drivers for a platinum operation in Rustenburg, North West. If you are qualified, medically fit, and ready to get back underground, this is your chance to secure stable contract work and earn at industry rates.

Job details

• Operate electric or air winches for moving rock, ore, and equipment
• Support cleaning, blasting, and stope clearing as per shift boss instructions
• Perform safety checks before using winches and report any defects
• Communicate clearly with team using signals or radio
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and clear of hazards
• Stick to mine safety procedures, PPE compliance, and daily production targets

Requirements

• Competency B Certificate (this is mandatory, no exceptions)
• Matric or at least Grade 10
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (for underground work)
• Certified South African ID
• Clean criminal record
• Previous underground mining experience (especially platinum)
