Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Approach all customers, greet, smile, and offer assistance.
2. Identify customer needs to provide an optimal experience.
3. Take responsibility for serving customers and resolving their queries.
4. Apply selling skills effectively.
5. Meet customer needs and expectations by asking, listening, and advising on options, services, and products.
6. Offer alternatives if merchandise is unavailable.
7. Achieve sales and unit targets.
8. Stay informed about new lines and promotions.
9. Specialize in all departments through focused supplier training and prescribed booklist completion.
10. Follow store disciplines and maintain productivity.
11. Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
12. Ensure merchandising principles are maintained and all items are properly ticketed.
13. Conduct accurate stock counts and check product expiry dates.
14. Assist with cash handling at points of sale and during cash-ups.

Job Specifications:

1. Grade 12 or relevant diploma/short course in health and wellness modalities, effective retail selling, or product knowledge.
2. Minimum of 3 years retail sales experience, with 2 years industry-specific experience.
3. Degree in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Phytotherapy, Chinese Medicine, or related natural health qualification.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
6. Competency assessment achieved.
