Placements24 is seeking dedicated Welding & Fabrication Apprentices to join its skilled trades team in Upington, South Africa. The program offers hands-on training in welding techniques and fabrication processes, under the guidance of experienced welders and fabricators.

You will learn to construct, assemble, and repair metal structures, develop safe work habits, and gain practical experience across MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, with mentorship and the prospect of long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent.
• A strong interest in welding, metalwork, and fabrication.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled welders in preparing metal surfaces for welding.
