Job summary

Orion Group is seeking a talented Web Developer/Designer to join our Marketing Team. The role combines development and design to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites.

You will build and maintain sites, design layouts, and ensure optimal performance across desktop and mobile. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in web development and design, a strong portfolio, and knowledge of APIs, e-commerce integrations, UX/UI, and SEO.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Tertiary qualification in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, or related field is preferable.
• At least 5+ years of experience in web development and design.
• Must be able to provide a portfolio of websites completed.
• Strong understanding of APIs, E‑Commerce, online shopping, payment gateways and loyalty programmes as well as UX/UI design, website updates, integrations and widgets.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
