About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of municipal engineering services, is seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to join their team in **Klerksdorp, North West**. This role is crucial for the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring the sustainable supply and management of water resources for the community. You will be involved in everything from bulk water supply schemes to local reticulation networks and wastewater treatment facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage the development of water supply systems, including treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the design of water treatment plants, distribution systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and water management practices in **South Africa**.
• Excellent report writing, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams and client liaison.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within **Klerksdorp** and the surrounding **North West** region as needed.
